Ticket Policy
Updated June 2025
Catskill Symphony Orchestra (CSO) and the Green Toad Bookstore are the only authorized sellers of tickets to CSO events held at Foothills Performing Arts and Civic Center, SUNY Oneonta, and other locations. Tickets may be purchased through the CSO website at www.catskillsymphony.org, on the phone (607) 269-7501, by mail at PO Box 14 Oneonta, NY 13820, or in person at Will Call. When purchasing tickets, you represent and warrant that all information you provide, including but not limited to information concerning your name, address, credit card number, and other identifying information will be true, complete and correct, and that you will update any such information should it change. You agree that you will only use credit cards that belong to you or that you have been expressly authorized to use. You further agree that you will not attempt to conceal your identity by using multiple Internet Protocol ("IP") addresses or email addresses to use or to purchase tickets on our website or via a third-party ticket service. Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotions, contests, or sweepstakes unless formal written authorization is given by the CSO. Any use of trademarks, name and other intellectual property of the CSO is subject to the CSO’s consent.
Pricing
Ticket prices are subject to change without notice. Prices listed on www.catskillsymphony.org do not include potential applicable fees.
GiveButter
CSO uses GiveButter to sell and administer tickets. GiveButter is a nonprofit commerce platform enabling CSO to manage donations, ticket sales, and donor management in one place. Ticket holders do not need to create GiveButter accounts. Any requests for assistance on reviewing or retrieving tickets from GiveButter may be directed to the CSO at contact@catskillsymphony.org.
Ticket Delivery: Tickets are no longer mailed to ticket holders. GiveButter will email you a copy of your tickets in PDF format and tickets may be saved to digital wallets. PDF and digital wallet formats are all accepted at the door, and will be activated a few hours before each concert. Will Call tickets will be held in your name and can be picked up at the check-in desk, at each performance.
Lost Tickets
Did you lose your ticket? Will Call will have your ticket — don’t worry!
Minimum Age Requirements
Everyone attending a CSO concert must have a ticket, regardless of age. Free student tickets are always available thanks to the Wendy Brown Student Ticket Program. Also covered under the program are highly-discounted ($10) tickets for parents, guardians, and chaperones accompanying a student ticket holder.
Forms of Payment
At the door, CSO accepts cash, credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover), and personal checks with identification. The GiveButter platform accepts all major credit cards, bank account debits, Venmo, and digital wallet payments.
Performance Cancellation
If a performance is cancelled or postponed, information will be posted on www.catskillsymphony.org and the CSO’s Facebook and Instagram platforms. If a performance is postponed, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. If a performance is cancelled or a patron cannot attend, patrons may exchange to another performance (subject to availability) or receive a tax credit.
Refunds, Exchanges, and Transfers
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. By purchasing tickets through the CSO you agree to not dispute or otherwise seek a credit card chargeback in lieu of not receiving a refund. Ticket exchanges are offered on a concert-by-concert basis (subject to availability). If you are unable to attend and wish to transfer your ticket, please notify the CSO of the new ticket holder so Will Call will have accurate information on file.
House Rules
CSO hosts concerts at Foothills Performing Arts and Civic Center, and SUNY Oneonta, among other locations. As such, CSO is a guest in every venue it performs in and will defer to the policies and procedures of the host venue.
Resale of Tickets
Resale of tickets is prohibited. New York State Law prohibits the resale of tickets within 500 feet of the roofline of the host venue. Violators are subject to ejection from the venue and forfeiture of tickets.
Additional Disclosures
All event dates, times, musicians, and guest artists are subject to change without notice.
All ticket holders grant permission to CSO and/or the host venue to use their image or likeness in connection with any broadcast, publication, or distribution.
CSO reserves the right not to sell a ticket to anyone for any reason.
